GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA – Voters in Nebraska’s Third Congressional District re-elected Congressman Adrian Smith on Tuesday. Smith began Election Day by casting his ballot in his hometown of Gering before traveling to Grand Island to watch the results come in alongside supporters.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the hard-working men and women of Nebraska’s third congressional district,” said Smith. “This truly is the heartland of America and I’m so proud to represent, work for, and fight for the great people of Nebraska.”
“We’ve gotten big things done in the last two years – Working Families Tax Cuts, securing the border, and opening markets for Nebraska agriculture producers and manufacturers. These are all big wins for Nebraska families, seniors, and farmers. But we’re not done yet.”
“As we close out the year and prepare for a new Congress, my priorities remain clear: strengthening Nebraska agriculture through year-round E15, opening markets for Nebraska agriculture and manufacturing, passing a strong Farm Bill, improving access to quality healthcare close to home, cutting burdensome regulations that hold back our small businesses and communities, and fighting the woke socialist agenda that seeks to undermine the values and traditions that make America the greatest nation on Earth. I look forward to connecting with you all across the district, hearing your priorities, and continuing to serve our district in Congress.”
The Third Congressional District includes 80 of Nebraska’s 93 counties. Congressman Smith, and his wife, Andrea, reside in Gering, Nebraska, with their two young children.
